U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Michael Dunagan, from the 70th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, 70th Troop Command, received instructions from Romanian Land Forces Maj. Cosmin Baciu, commander of the Transylvanian Gepards, before firing the Romanian model 1995 pistol during a Romanian-led shooting competition in Orysz, Poland, June 6, 2025. The competition enhanced soldier's understanding of Romanian Land Forces small arms and to foster interoperability between the two forces. Task Force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s only forward-deployed corps in Europe. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Trevor Wilson)
