A 60th Wing Inspection Team (WIT) inspector observes Airmen from a total force integrated (TFI) team composed of the 349th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), 921st Contingency Response Squadron, and 621st Contingency Response Squadron take up defensive positions behind rocks, scanning for simulated threats while defending the forward operating base (FOB) during Exercise NEXUS RISING 25-01 at Travis AFB, Calif., June 11, 2025. NEXUS RISING 25-01 is a full-scale readiness exercise designed to enhance the ability to generate and sustain combat-ready mobility Airmen and rapidly deploy as an Expeditionary Air Base (XAB) in support of global operations, June 8-13, 2025.
