A quick reaction force (QRF) team from the 349th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) deploys to the forward operating base (FOB) entering a entry control point (ECP) to integrate with Airmen from the 721st Contingency Response Squadron and 921st Contingency Response Squadron, showcasing Team Travis' total force integrated capabilities and interoperability between reserve and active duty components, in order to defend the FOB from simulated attacks during Exercise NEXUS RISING 25-01 at Travis AFB, Calif., June 11, 2025. NEXUS RISING 25-01 is a full-scale readiness exercise designed to enhance the ability to generate and sustain combat-ready mobility Airmen and rapidly deploy as an Expeditionary Air Base (XAB) in support of global operations, June 8-13, 2025.
