The Puerto Rico National Guard (PRNG) joined the nationwide celebration of the United States Army’s 250th anniversary with a special ceremony honoring the Army’s rich history, enduring legacy, and continued service in Puerto Rico.
The event, organized by the PRNG, featured the traditional Army birthday cake-cutting ceremony—a time-honored tradition observed annually at military installations across the nation and abroad.
Brig. Gen. Carlos G. Torres Febus, Land Component Commander of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard, led the ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the Army’s milestone and the vital role Puerto Rican Soldiers have played throughout its history.
