A firefighter from the 349th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) Structures team uses a ladder to lift a tent frame bar to the center of a tent, which will be used for general lodging for Airmen, during preparations for Exercise NEXUS RISING 25-01 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., June 6, 2025. NEXUS RISING 25-01 is a full-scale readiness exercise designed to enhance the ability to generate and sustain combat-ready mobility Airmen and rapidly deploy as an Expeditionary Air Base (XAB) in support of global operations, held June 8-13, 2025.
