Boblowende Ilboudo, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers civil engineer, participates in a periodic assessment of the Branched Oak Dam located north of Lincoln, Nebraska, June 3, 2025. A periodic inspection of the dam is conducted every five years and a periodic assessment is conducted every 10 years to identify potential defects and to ensure the dam is functioning as designed.
