Maj. John Tracy, Officer Candidate School company commander, observes opening remarks during the OCS Class 70-25 staff ride at Fort Donelson National Battlefield in Dover, Tennessee, March 17, 2025. Tracy, a graduate of the OCS program himself, provided mentorship and oversight throughout the three-day leadership event. The staff ride allowed candidates to study historical battlefield decisions and apply those lessons to modern Army leadership principles in preparation for commissioning.
