Leaders from FEMA Region 6 and the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management partnered with the Arkansas National Guard to assess widespread storm damage caused by heavy rainfall from April 2–6, 2025.
The aerial assessments were conducted aboard UH-60 Black Hawks operated by the 77th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, providing federal and state officials with a firsthand look at flooded communities, damaged infrastructure, and ongoing recovery operations across northern Arkansas.
These images will assist in damage reporting, resource allocation, and long-term recovery planning efforts.
