U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Stephanie Ossorio, an ammunition technician with 2d Combat Readiness Regiment, 2d Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, is recognized as the Marine of the Year for II MEF at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 27, 2025. “Not only do I go to work every day and do what I am told, but I also lead my Marines in and outside of the Marine Corps,” said Ossorio, a native of Miami, Florida. “Receiving this award does not mean I stop working, but instead that I keep grinding at work and keep the standards high.” The Marine of the Year distinction recognizes Marines who exceed expectations and have contributed significantly to the mission effectiveness of their unit.
