U.S. Navy Hospitalman Fanuel Adnwati with 6th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, is recognized as the Blue Jacket of the Year for II MEF at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 27, 2025. “This award has shown me that staying focused on the grind is never in vain,” said Adnwati, a native of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. “When it gets tough, toughen up. Never break down and never give up.” The Blue Jacket of the year distinction recognizes Sailors who exceed expectations and have contributed significantly to the mission effectiveness of their unit.
