A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from Aviano Air Base’s 510th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, receives fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from Fairchild Air Force Base’s 92nd Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, Aug. 8, 2024 over the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). The F-16 is provided fuel by the KC-135 as a practice of maximizing the amount of time and coverage the fighter jet can provide to the USCENTCOM AOR.
