A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker boom operator, from Fairchild Air Force Base’s 92nd Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron examines post-flight paperwork, Aug. 8, 2024 over the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). Boom operators are tasked with aerial refueling duties, as well as monitoring the aircraft, and aiding the pilots.
