U.S. Air Force Maj. Tyler Ribar, 74th Fighter Squadron A-10C Thunderbolt II pilot, prepares for take-off during Exercise Ready Tiger 24-1 at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, April 9, 2024. The 23rd Fighter Group directs the flying and maintenance operations for the U.S. Air Force’s largest A-10C fighter group, consisting of two combat-ready A-10C squadrons and an operations support squadron. The group ensures overall combat training and readiness for over 90 pilots and 180 support personnel. During Ready Tiger 24-1, the 23rd Wing will be evaluated on the integration of Air Force Force Generation principles such as Agile Combat Employment, integrated combat turns, forward aerial refuelling points, multi-capable Airmen, and combat search and rescue capabilities.
