Multiple A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft sit in preparation for take-off during Exercise Ready Tiger 24-1 at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, April 9, 2024. A-10C aircraft have excellent manoeuvrability at low airspeeds and altitude and are highly accurate weapons-delivery platforms. They can loiter near battle areas for extended periods and operate under 1,000-foot ceilings with 1.5-mile visibility. Their wide combat radius and short take-off and landing capability permit operations in and out of locations near front lines. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt. Benjamin Williams)
