Iraqi police direct traffic at an intersection in the district of East Rashid in Baghdad March 31. Iraqi security forces could be seen at nearly every corner securing and patrolling the area without the assistance of coalition forces. The strong ISF presence seemed to be welcomed on the busy roads and busy markets throughout Baghdad.
