An Alaska National Guard UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter drops off recovery team members at Eldridge Glacier, Denali National Park, Alaska, Aug. 3, 2023. The team consists of support from Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations, Alaskan Command, Alaska National Guard, U.S. Army Alaska, 673rd Air Base Wing, 3rd Wing and Detachment 1, 66th Training Squadron. Due to hazardous terrain and extreme weather, the site is only accessible via helicopter by personnel trained in glacier survival, travel and safety. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Don Hudson)
