U.S. Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461 and Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 carry meals, ready to eat at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 15, 2023. HMH-461 and MWSS-271 took part in Large Scale Exercise 2023, a globally integrated exercise designed to refine the synchronization of maritime operations across multiple fleets in support of the joint force. The training was based on a progression of scenarios that will assess and refine modern warfare concepts.
