Victor Harrell, 1171s Medical Company (Area Support), 146th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, Michigan National Guard, instructs Soldiers how to use an advanced patient simulator during Northern Strike 2023 on Camp Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 8, 2023. Scenario-based training using this advanced patient simulator combines the need to identify skill improvement areas for individuals as well as those essential for a team to function together. Exercise NS23 is a premier reserve component training event that integrates both U.S. and partner nation readiness training to build interoperability and strengthen partnerships in an all-domain environment.
