Soldiers from the 146th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, Michigan National Guard, train on an advanced patient simulator during Exercise Northern Strike 2023 on Camp Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 8, 2023. The advanced patient simulator can be used to train on many different emergency care procedures and can replicate many bodily functions such as the secretion of blood, sweat and tears. Exercise NS23 is a premier reserve component training event that integrates both U.S. and partner nation readiness training to build interoperability and strengthen partnerships in an all-domain environment.
