A bouncy house provided by DSCC Morale, Recreation and Welfare was a hit with kids attending the Defense Logistics Agency Police Department’s second annual National Night Out at Noon event Aug. 1 at DSCC’s Mission Park. The event, modeled after National Night Out, is an annual campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Children from the Defense Supply Center Columbus Child Development Center participated in a range of activities during the two-hour event. DLA Police officers also served up a free lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks for all in attendance.
