A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II takes off prior to conducting a mission with a partner nation at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates, April 24, 2023. The deployment of A-10s in the region provides additional capability in the Middle East alongside fighter aircraft.
