U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Alexander Martinon, 407th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron weather forecaster, at an undisclosed location, September 5, 2022, is responsible for converging and exploiting weather intelligence with joint and coalition partners to anticipate mission impacts and drive behavior. He operates equipment like weather sensors that can help predict winds, temperature and visibility information, which impact operations across the installation. “The best part of this exercise for me has been revisiting a once abandoned air base and seeing how it can go from non-operable to operable within 24 hours.
