U.S. Air Force Senior Airman October Christen-Malone, 407th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron airfield management, explains the best part about coming to a new location to stand up a new airfield during Operation Agile Spartan III at an undisclosed location, September 5, 2022. “It's incredibly unique here. The pavement we have to work with hasn't been touched in a while. We get to work with unique infrastructure that is not something we've seen before and it’s cool to work with. We've got ample parking space for any type of aircraft that we need, and we get to create a new parking plan, new operations and new contingencies for whatever happens. The best part has been to go from seeing this space covered in rocks, and a hangar door stuck open, to a ramp full of fighter jets. We're ready to rock and roll.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
