U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Marie Miller, 386th Expeditionary Medical Squadron bioenvironmental engineering NCOIC, is responsible for conducting health risk assessments for occupational hazards such as noise, hazardous chemicals, and air quality, and recently Miller had a chance to put this to practice during Operation Agile Spartan III at an undisclosed location, September 8, 2022. “The best part about this experience is being the only bio person out here. So usually there's a team of bioenvironmental engineers. Now I'm the only one. It's nice to have all these skills and then put them to real world use.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
