Cpl. Brenden Fisher, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, fires a DroneDefender during Operation Northern Strike at Camp Grayling, Mich., Aug. 14, 2022. The DroneDefender is a hand-held defense mechanism that has been adopted by the U.S Army to eliminate aerial threats such as drones, quadcopter and fixed-wing airframes, by jamming common frequencies on which drones operate, without compromising the surrounding safety or risking collateral damage.
