A 203rd Air Refueling Squadron aircrew, Tech. Sgt. Anthony Victorino and Senior Master Sgt. Derek Wheeler, Lt. Col. Kelly Church and Maj. Koani Lau, gather in front of a historic KC-135R Stratotanker April 30, 2022, at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, Ohio. The pairs of boom operators and pilots embarked on the aircraft's final flight to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where the jet was inducted as the first Stratotanker in the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The Stratotanker, numbered 60-0329, is recognized as the first refueling platform to be awarded the McKay Trophy in 1967, an honor reserved for aviators who demonstrate the highest skill levels by performing the 'most meritorious flight of the year.
