Lt. Col. Kelly Church, 203rd Air Refueling Squadron commander, and his co-pilot, Maj. Koani Lau, prepare a KC-135R Stratotanker for flight April 28, 2022, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The Stratotanker, numbered 60-0329, has been an integral part of the 203rd Air Refueling Squadron since forming in 1993 and is recognized for conducting the world's first tri-level refueling during the Vietnam conflict. The Hawaii Air National Guard Airmen flew the aircraft to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, so that it may become the first Stratotanker inducted into the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
