U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Jared A. Hoversten, oncoming, Marine Corps Forces Command (MARFORCOM) Marine Corps Forces Northern Command (MARFOR NORTHCOM), Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic (FMFLANT), Headquarters and Service Battalion (HQSVCBN) Sergeant Major, gives a speech during the relief and appointment ceremony at the Hopkins Hall Gymnasium, Norfolk, Virginia, Jan. 24, 2022. The new Sergeant Major will proceed to execute the mission of HQSVCBN in provisioning joint capable Marine Corps forces and execution of service-retained operating forces in support of the commanding officer.
