The image shows a controlled explosion occurring in what appears to be an open quarry or demolition range. A large fireball with orange and yellow flames is visible on the left side of the frame, accompanied by smoke rising on the right side, suggesting multiple detonation points. The setting appears to be a designated explosive ordnance disposal or demolition training/testing area.

210629-N-MO469-1011 YIGO, Guam (Jun. 29, 2021) In a display of interoperability, Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11 Det. Guam work together with Airmen assigned to 554th RED HORSE Squadron to place and detonate C4 explosives in order to blast rock for crushing operations. Rock crushing operations enable Naval Construction Force units to independently produce aggregate in order to perform tasks such as Airfield Damage Repair and Port Damage Repair to enhance fleet maneuverability. NMCB 11 Det. Guam is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation.
