210714-N-OH262-0206 ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 14, 2021)--A Civil Service Mariner serving aboard Military Sealift Command's fleet replenishment oiler USNS Joshua Humphreys (T-AO 188) monitors the distance between ships during an underway replenishment-at-sea with the guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103), in the Atlantic Ocean, July 14. Underway replenishments-at-sea enable the U.S. Navy's combatant ships to re-supply without having to pull into port, thus allowing them to stay on mission for an extended time.
