A group of U.S. Army soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are operating a howitzer artillery piece, with visible smoke indicating a recent or ongoing firing sequence. The soldiers appear to be performing a coordinated gun crew drill or live-fire exercise in a field environment with hilly, vegetated terrain in the background. The image captures the immediate post-firing moment with a soldier handling what appears to be a spent shell casing.
