U.S. Army soldiers are operating an M777 155mm howitzer during a live-fire artillery exercise, with the cannon visibly firing as evidenced by the muzzle blast and smoke at the barrel. The exercise appears to be taking place on a training range with red-dirt terrain, dry grass, and lush green mountains in the background, consistent with a Hawaiian training environment such as Schofield Barracks or Kahuku Training Area. Multiple soldiers in MultiCam uniforms are positioned around the artillery piece performing crew duties.
