CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti – Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) conducts an earthquake response exercise with simulated mass casualties, October 15, 2020. CLDJ first responders address the mass casualties while all others onboard are responsible for personnel accountability, base security and disaster safety. The exercise is part an assessment conducted on all eight installations of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central to test their response proficiency. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
