U.S. Air Force airmen from the 18th Maintenance Group march along a street in Iwo To, Japan, formerly known as Iwo Jima, as part of a tour led by the 18th Wing History Office July 26, 2012. During the tour of the island, airmen marched to the top of Mount Suribachi, the site of the iconic “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima” photograph after the battle, where they paid tribute to those who gave their lives there more than 67 years ago.
