U.S. NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 22, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jacob Thomas, Marine Air Ground Task Force Onload/Offload Team chief, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, supervises the strategically planned backload of heavy equipment previously relocated to offload an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) onto Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of COVID-19 response for aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and preparations for Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) in Guam.
