Balancing on a teeter-totter while firing a shotgun and being timed, Staff Sgt. Brandon Hornung is competing in the 2019 Fort Benning Multi-gun Challenge, at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia. Horning, a resident of Mendota, Illinois, is marksmanship trainer with the Illinois Small Arms Readiness Training Section and is a member of the National Guard Action Shooting Team. He is one of only six National Guard Soldiers who are participating in the multi-gun challenge where service members compete with civilians to see who can complete the 12 events the fastest. Each event requires the competitor to use multiple weapons to knock down the targets with the best time overall. (U.S. Army National Guard Photo by Staff Sgt. Tegan Kucera)
