JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, FORT SAM HOUSTON – (Nov. 6, 2019) Sailors and support personnel assigned to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio attend a town hall meeting hosted by Rear Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) at the Donald Evans Auditorium. McLane, who was joined by Command Master Chief Don Charbonneau and Master Chief Navy Counselor Frank Tiongco, the national chief recruiter, spoke on the successes of the NRD to include recruiting incentives and best practices. NRC consists of a command headquarters, three Navy Recruiting Regions, 16 Navy Recruiting Districts and 10 Navy Talent Acquisition Groups that serve more than 1,300 recruiting stations across the country. Their combined goal is to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America’s Navy.
