    WACO, Texas - (Nov. 5, 2019) Master Chief Navy Counselor Frank Tiongco (right), national chief recruiter, Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) speaks with Sailors assigned to Navy Recruiting Station (NRS) Waco during a visit to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio. The purpose of the visit was to talk to recruiters regarding the current and future state of Navy Recruiting. Tiongco, of The Philippines, was joined by NRC Commander Rear Adm. Brendan McLane and Command Master Chief Don Charbonneau. NRD San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory. NRC consists of a command headquarters, three Navy Recruiting Regions, 16 Navy Recruiting Districts and 10 Navy Talent Acquisition Groups that serve more than 1,300 recruiting stations across the country. Their combined goal is to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America’s Navy.
