JAMES RIVER, Va. (Oct. 25, 2019) An MH-60S Seahawk, attached to the Dragonslayers, of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC 11), hovers as a tugboat escorts USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) through the James River and out to sea. Ford departed Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding and returned to sea for the first time since beginning their post-shakedown availability in July 2018 to conduct sea trials.
