    NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 25, 2019) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Anthony Parkman, from Detroit, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) deck department, fakes out a mooring line in the ship's forecastle ahead of the ship's return to sea. Ford departed Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding and returned to sea for the first time since beginning their post-shakedown availability in July 2018 to conduct sea trials.
