DIEGO GARCIA (July 30, 2019) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Daivyn James, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses bender to properly bend reinforcing bar to desired measurements for the concrete placement. The reinforcing bar will be placed in the concrete pad to support a Tension Fabric Structure. NMCB 4 is forward deployed throughout Indo-Pacific region ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and to providing general engineering and civil construction support to U.S. and joint operational forces.
