DIEGO GARCIA (July 31, 2019) Builder 3rd Class Matthew Clunan, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses laser level to check elevations for an upcoming concrete placement. This concrete pad will hold a tension fabric structure that will be used to hold materials and equipment for the Pacific Air Force. NMCB 4 is forward deployed throughout Indo-Pacific region ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and to providing general engineering and civil construction support to U.S. and joint operational forces.
