DIEGO GARCIA (July 31, 2019) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 use a laser level and Philadelphia rod to ensure concrete pad elevations are set to the proper height in preparation for upcoming placement. This concrete pad will hold a tension fabric structure that will be used to hold materials and equipment for the Pacific Air Force. NMCB 4 is forward deployed throughout Indo-Pacific region ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and to providing general engineering and civil construction support to U.S. and joint operational forces.
