    Lance Cpl. Cody M. Holmes demonstrates how to properly apply a tourniquet on Pfc. Brandy L. Vinsonteeter while members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and Marines observe March 2 during Exercise Forest Light 12-2. The purpose of Forest Light 12-2 is to enhance the interoperability of Marines and JGSDF members while increasing individual and unit readiness in a cold weather environment. Holmes and Vinsonteeter are with 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
