Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune hosted National Weather Service Morehead City's Erik Heden May 13, 2019, to discuss severe weather and the importance of preparation prior to hurricane season. Heden helped NMCCL personnel better understand the weather patterns of Eastern North Carolina and how the agency interprets the data for the public. Partnerships with NWS Morehead City helps ensure NMCCL patients and staff are being weather-wise and prepping as much as possible before potentially dangerous weather.
