    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Sgt. Carlos Zuniga, 25, squad leader, from Pompano Beach, Fla., checks in with his unit, a part of 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines. The Marines pushed through the city of Shah Karez and searched every building for explosives and drugs. Marines made use of their mobilized speed and night vision capability to disrupt and confuse enemy operations in the city of Shah Karez.
