JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 20, 2019) – Patricia Gill, the Urology clinic manager at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, educates a patient about kidney stones. Gill, a retired Navy Nurse Corps officer and native of Allendale, South Carolina, was named a Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida. “Nursing is my passion. I love what I do. I chose nursing because of my dedication to caring for others. There’s nothing more fulfilling than being able to there for someone when they need you the most. I have the opportunity to make a difference, no matter how big or small, in many people’s lives.” Four Naval Hospital Jacksonville nurses have been selected for The Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida’s “Great 100” award. The award recognizes nurses who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the patients and families for whom they care, the profession as a whole, and the community in which they live.
