190320-N-RU084-1002 OXNARD, Calif. (Mar. 20, 2019) – Mr. Bobby Roberts, assigned to Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (EXWDC), observes Seabees from Underwater Construction Team 2, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 and Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 303 build an expeditionary quay wall patch on Naval Base Ventura County in support of Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). EXWDC manages the lifecycle of expeditionary tactics, techniques and procedures, identifies and eliminates gaps in expeditionary capabilities, and assesses force effectiveness to fight and win America’s wars. PacBlitz19 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response and provides reassurance to U.S. regional partners and allies of enduring commitment to regional stability.
