    FIRST Naval Construction Regiment

    AVALON, Calif. (March 1, 2019) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 25 smooth freshly laid cement at the airport on Catalina Island off the coast of California. Seabees assigned to NMCB 25 are working alongside Marines from the I Marine Expeditionary Force to reconstruct the runway at the airport as part of an innovative readiness training opportunity to benefit the service members and the community, a project expected to be completed spring 2019.
