HONOLULU, Hawaii (March, 6, 2019) -- Gary Kitkowski (right), Pacific Ocean Division (POD) senior executive service civilian and regional business director, receives the Regional Management Board (RMB) Business Star, an honor traditionally presented to departing RMB members as an acknowledgement of their hard work and accomplishments as a contributing member. Kitkowski, who is slated for retirement from POD in the spring of 2019, has served as co-chair of the RMB, participating in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Management Action Group, as well as having been a proactive champion of many regional initiatives, including workload sharing among the districts. The award, which was presented by POD Commanding General, Brig. Gen. Thomas Tickner (left) also recognizes Kitkowski's technical competencies and leadership.
